Terms of Service

Tech Clarity is a technology advisory service operated by Marjorie Ocampo. We help business owners understand their software stack, reduce unnecessary spending and plan practical improvements. You can reach us at marjoriemaybocampo@gmail.com.

By creating an account, running an audit, booking a session or otherwise using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without consent.

Audit reports are generated from the information you provide, combined with automated analysis. They are intended as general guidance to help you make better decisions about your software stack.

Reports are not legal, financial, tax or accounting advice, and results such as estimated savings are illustrative rather than guaranteed. You remain responsible for decisions you make about cancelling, purchasing or migrating tools — including reviewing your own contracts and vendor terms before acting.

• Strategy Sessions and premium assessments are paid through PayPal. Payment is processed by PayPal under their own terms; we never see or store your card details.
• All payments are charged immediately at checkout — nothing is held, pre-authorised or billed later. Your PayPal receipt is your proof of purchase.
• Access to a purchased assessment unlocks automatically once PayPal confirms the payment. After paying for a Strategy Session you book your time through the scheduling link shown on the session page.
• Prices are in US dollars and may change for future purchases.

We want you to be happy with what you paid for. If something is not right, email us first — we respond to every request personally.

• How to request a refund: email marjoriemaybocampo@gmail.com from the address used at checkout, with your PayPal transaction ID and a short note about what went wrong.
• Time limit: refund requests must be received within 15 business days of the payment date. Requests made after that window cannot be processed.
• Strategy Sessions: fully refundable if requested before the session takes place. Once the session has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
• Assessments and reports: refundable within the 15 business day window if the assessment has not been completed or its report has not been generated or downloaded. Because reports are delivered digitally and immediately, completed reports are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Timing: approved refunds are issued to the original PayPal payment method, normally within 5 business days of approval. Access to any refunded item is removed automatically.
• Please contact us before opening a dispute. Chargebacks and PayPal disputes take weeks and lock the funds while they are reviewed — emailing us is faster, and we will always work with you in good faith to resolve a valid issue. By purchasing, you agree to raise any billing concern with us first and to allow us 5 business days to respond before filing a dispute or chargeback. Accounts with an unresolved chargeback may have access suspended until the matter is settled.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading.
• Attempt to access other users' data, accounts or reports.
• Scrape, resell, republish or commercially redistribute our content, tool library or reports without written permission.
• Interfere with, overload or attempt to disrupt the service or its security.

The site, its content, branding, tool library and report formats belong to Tech Clarity. The business information you submit remains yours; you grant us permission to process it so we can generate and store your reports.

We aim to keep the service running reliably, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Clarity is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or savings that did not materialise. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that are used in a way that puts other users or the service at risk.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
