Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by Tech Clarity to explain, in plain English, what information we collect and how it is used. Last updated July 30, 2026.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email address when you register or sign in with Google.
- Audit information — the business profile, software tools, costs, usage frequency and pain points you enter during an audit.
- Session enquiries — the details you submit when requesting a Technology Strategy Session.
- Technical data — basic log information such as browser type and timestamps, used to keep the service secure and working.
We do not ask for sensitive categories of personal data, and we never collect or store payment card numbers.
2. How we use it
- To create your account and let you sign back in to your saved reports.
- To generate your technology audit report and improvement roadmap.
- To respond to strategy session enquiries and schedule calls.
- To send service emails such as sign-up confirmation and report notifications.
- To keep the service secure, diagnose problems and improve how it works.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your audit data for advertising.
3. AI processing
Audit reports are produced with the help of an AI model. The business and software details you submit are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your report. We do not authorise that data to be used to train third-party models.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service:
- Our hosting and database platform, which stores accounts, audits and reports.
- Our AI provider, which generates report analysis and recommendations.
- PayPal, which processes strategy session payments under its own privacy policy.
- Calendly, used for scheduling booked sessions.
5. Security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections. Access to audit records is restricted so that you can only read and edit your own data, with administrative access limited to what is needed to operate and support the service. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
6. How long we keep it
Account and audit records are kept while your account is active so your reports remain available. Session enquiries are kept as long as needed to deliver and follow up on the engagement. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and associated audit records, other than anything we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your choices
- Access or correct your information by signing in to your dashboard.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us.
- Unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your progress through an audit. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
9. Children
The service is intended for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, tell you by email.
